JaDean Frehner holds a bachelor's degree in Social Work and a MEd in Instructional Technology, both from Utah State University. She has several years' experience working in education. She believes that quality public education is one of the great American principles and enjoys working at a charter high school where she wears many hats including that of "roll model".

JaDean loves reading, gardening, sewing, the leisurely pursuit of nature, and spending time with her husband, artist Greg Frehner, and their two children.
