Fine Arts Credit

Attend ten different plays, operas, musical performances, or dance recitals from either university, private, or high school troupes. Write a 500-1000 word review of the performance and submit it to Mrs. Frehner with a program from the event. If a student is performing in a play then they do not have to write a review, but need to turn in the program with a letter from a parent verifying their participation in the event. This class is worth one fine arts credit and will be graded as either P, D, or F. All material will be returned.

Reading Credit Read five books from a preselected reading list and earn one half credit; read ten books and earn one full credit. Students will need to discuss the book with a member of the faculty who has read it to pass it off. This option for elective credit is available all year.
