Advocating for children and education has been my life's work for
over 40 years. I enjoy the energy and challenges associated with
young people and see the bright face of the future in their dreams
and abilities.
I have taught English and social studies and coached a debate
team at the high school level; was a Clinical Demonstration
Teacher at the CPD ( when it was the Exceptional child Center), and
spent the last 20 years teaching at Logan High School in the Resource
Department.
I am the mother of three grown children and grandma to two
great grandchildren.
Other than education, my interests include art, music, literature and
gardening. My art studio is at my home in Logan. I work mainly in watercolors,
oil pastels and fiber arts. I enjoy the creative process and love sharing
the end results with friends. Making some extra dollars at art shows
can be nice. Playing the guitar and writing songs is also an enjoyable
pastime. Glad to be here.
